Privacy policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

This policy describes how the em-video app and the em-video.fr website process your personal data.

In brief

em-video collects the strict minimum. There is no account to create, no advertising, no audience measurement tool (no Google Analytics or similar tracker), and no resale of data. The app is free.

Who is the data controller?

The publisher of em-video, Vincent Hamel (sole trader, SIRET 803 785 856 000 52), is responsible for processing the data described below.
Contact: vincent.hamel.physio@gmail.com

What data are processed, and why?

1. Push notifications (optional)

If, and only if, you enable notifications, the app generates a technical identifier for your device (a notification token) through Firebase Cloud Messaging, a Google service. We use this identifier solely to let you know when a new game or training course is available in the app.

  • Legal basis: your consent (enabling notifications).
  • You can disable them at any time in your phone’s settings; the token then stops being used.
  • Processor: Google (Firebase). See Google’s privacy policy.

2. Video playback (Vimeo)

Videos are hosted and played through Vimeo. When you play a video, Vimeo may set cookies and collect technical data (device, playback) according to its own privacy policy. em-video does not receive these data.

  • Processor / third party: Vimeo, Inc. See Vimeo’s privacy policy.

3. Training dates

The training dates shown in the app are public information. Viewing them requires no personal data.

4. Newsletter (optional)

If you ask to receive the newsletter, your email address is used to send you a confirmation link. Your subscription remains pending until you open that link. You can also optionally provide your first name, surname, phone number, profession and interests to receive more relevant content.

  • Legal basis: your consent.
  • You can unsubscribe or request deletion of your data at any time.
  • The process uses our n8n automation and our internal NocoDB contact register, hosted on our OVH infrastructure.

5. Moderated public reviews

To submit a review, the app collects your first name, a rating and your text. Your surname and email address are optional. No review is published without manual approval. After approval, only your first name, rating, text and the date are publicly visible; your surname and email remain private.

  • Legal basis: your consent to publish the review.
  • Your IP address is held in memory for one minute solely to limit automated submissions; it is not stored with the review.
  • You can request removal of your review and deletion of the associated private data.

6. Reporting a problem

A report contains a title and details. You can then optionally add your first name, surname, email or phone number so we can reply. Your profession and interests are also optional. A follow-up email never subscribes you to the newsletter without an explicit choice on your part.

  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest in correcting and improving the service; consent applies separately to the newsletter.
  • Reports use our n8n automation and our internal NocoDB register, hosted on our OVH infrastructure.
  • You can request deletion of your contact details or report.

7. Data kept on your device

The app locally stores certain settings, content caches and playback states to work offline and avoid showing you the same update repeatedly. These data remain on your device and are deleted with the app. On the website, your choices to show outlines around functions or bonuses and to enable or mute HUD sounds are stored only in your browser and are not sent to the server.

8. HUD weather

The weather displayed always concerns Paris. It comes from MET Norway and passes through the em-video server: no geolocation is requested and your browser does not contact this provider. The relay does not send it your IP address, only the fixed public coordinates of Paris.

What em-video does NOT do

  • No user account, no password, no profile.
  • No advertising, no advertising tracker.
  • No audience measurement (no Google Analytics or equivalent).
  • No sale or sharing of your data for commercial purposes.
  • The app’s “games” are simply texts to copy into your own AI tool (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.): em-video sends no data to these services and has no access to anything you do there.

How long are data kept?

The notification token is kept for as long as you keep notifications enabled. Newsletter contacts are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Reviews and reports are kept for the time needed for moderation, follow-up and possible publication, then deleted on request. Local data disappear when you delete the app.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection regarding your data. To exercise them, write to vincent.hamel.physio@gmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
